You should check with your neprhologist about these questions. in general, however, there is medical literature that supports the use of Ace inhibitors in the management of glomerulonephropathies. You may think in terms of the ACE inhibitors protecting the basal membrane of the glomeruli and keeping the "holes" -defects- in the membrane small . Good luck and thanks for writing to us.
