Lack of interest of having sex

When I was 10, I had a hernia, and at 11 I had scarlet fever. Now being a 48 year old male, I have this problem of lack of interest of having sex, I can get an erection and ejaculate. It's just that I don't have the desire to have sex. Is there a cause for this, and a cure?
