Missing Period possibly from mono??

I am 17 years old and this is the first time in my life I have missed a Period. I am currently suffering from Mononucleosis also for the first time. I am sexually active, but am not pregnant. Is it possible that i am missing the period from Mono? or is there something wrong with me?
