You may not be alone. Recently reported data from The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the University of New Mexico' School of Medicine in Albuquerque suggests that home pregnancy tests utilized around the time of the missed menses are very unreliable. These tests depend on their ability to detect human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) were determined in urine. However, the tests were not able to detect small quantities of this hormone around the time of the missed menses. You may want to contact one of the authors of that study at Larry@hcglab.com.
Even if you have "no money" you will probably be able to be tested at a County or University Hospital Emergency Department if you arrive with your history and documentation.
Please let us know what you find. Good luck.
